Her name is Bella she is 3 years old has all her shots and is spaide. If you know a good home for her please e-mail me about it and I can tell you more later. We don’t want to give her to a shelter because they have been having to put alot of other dogs down thanks.

  • Have you made contact with Vizsla Breed Rescue in your area? That would be the best place to start.

    Where are you located?

Contact a Vizsla rescue group. They will ensure that she gets a good home.

Try to find a breed rescue.

This is not the same as a shelter – and they will only take her in if they have room and if they do that then she will be safe.

A breed rescue like ours (rotties) will make sure we interview the people, make sure they know the breed and understand them, we homecheck, and most important the new owners sign contracts to make sure that the rescue always has contacts with the dogs.

Vizla’s are an active breed, make some flyers and post them at the vet’s office or local gyms or parks. Places where active families go. Make sure to note her good traits, but don’t lie about the bad ones. Post a listing on your local craigslist.org also, or ask if a local shelter will sponsor her and put an entry on their petfinder.com page while she stays at home with you until you find a new place for her to live. Charging a fee usually means the person cares for the animal, free dogs can be viewed as naughty or unhealthy or dangerous. Unless you trust the new owners, keep in touch with them for a few weeks.

This is the World Wide Web, hun. Not everyone lives around the block from you. If the breeder won’t take the dog back, (have you tried?) contact Vizsla Rescue in your area. They will evaluate her and put her in a foster home until an appropriate home is found for her This IS your best choice rather than you screening new homes yourself or taking her to a shelter.

If you go to petfinder.com they can link you to a vizsla rescue group that doesn’t put down the dogs, they find good homes for animals in need. Good luck to you.

You have a very easy dog to adopt. Their are many potential Vizsla owners but the trick for you is to find the correct family. Bella needs to be evaluated by a person who knows Vizslas and can help you find her next family. They are out there.

Vizsla rescue folks are great people and very understanding. Vizslas are not for everyone. Bella can find the right home with the help of the rescue folks.

If you need help finding them you can e-mail me from my blog at

We have a 4 yr old Vizsla dog who has a fantastic temperament and is good with other dogs and children,We live on the edge of Sherwood Forest so we have the beauty of having the woodland walks on tap.
I recently lost our 10 yr old Weimaraner which left us all devastated and are looking for a dog to live alongside our Vizsla dog Ramsay.
Ideally a older Vizsla would suit as im not sure if i want to go down the puppy route again just yet,so we are willing to give a dog a very good loving hoe with lots of love to share .

We have a 9 month old male Vizsla that we need to find a good home for. He has been through professional training, housebroken, neutered, and is a great pet/friend. WE do not have enough yard for this very active vizsla to run in.

  • I’m impressed! You’ve managed the almost impssboile.

  • Tina

I am looking for a Vizsla dog. What part of the country are you in? I work with horses so am outdoors a great deal and have grown up with Vizslas. My parents still have 3. We love them!
