hungarian vizsla with a black nose?

vizsla
topcat asked:

hi, i am wondering if anyone can help solve an argument between my boyfriend and myself. we both love hungarian vizslas, but don’t know that much about them… he thinks he saw one with a black nose… but i’m convinced that this must have been a cross-breed, as they always have fleshy coloured noses… who’s correct?! :)

not always but often they have fleshy coloured noses, and black isnt that unusual.

Hungarian Vizslas should always have self-colored noses, meaning noses that match the coat color. They can come in black, but that would be a serious fault. It’s more likely that the dog was a mix that slightly resembled a Hungarian Vizsla in structure.
