My vizsla puppy (male) Is 9mos old now and about 60lbs. He is on the larger side of what the breed usually is. I was thinking that he would be done growing at around 1yr. He has slown down a lot. Does anyone know when they typicall stop growing and filling out totally? Just curious how big of a monster he is really going to be!!! HA HA!
Just so everyone knows…I have a 10 yr old vizsla as well. I know exactly what the breed is about. I know exactly how to care for them. I was asking generally how big people thought my pup was going to get….Seriously give me a fricken break
Thanks for your two cents nashniki

typical dogs reach full hight by the age of 2 althrough growth slows considerably around14-15 months they will continue to grow, given the proper food and exercise and the whole nine yards most will reach their heathly weight at around 3 and be completly filled out however that doesnt mean they technically stop growing mine usally tend to grow sideways after that lol
Males uasly finish developing at two years old. females at 2 and 1/2 years
Can I ask why you got this breed without knowing the consequences of raising/owning and living with it? You should never get an animal without the knowledge of what that animal needs and therefore what you can provide.
