I am not from Scotland so I can’t tell you anyplace specific; however, I can tell you that I have had the most luck with a) classified ads backyard breeders place in local newspapers and on places like Craigslist.com, and b) e-bay.

If you decide to go with e-bay, you want to be sure you are using a reputable dealer that guarantees live/healthy arrival, and that you are getting the fish that is actually in the picture on the ad. Also, be prepared to pay a bit for the shipping. But, if you really want high-quality koi, I have found e-bay to be a very reliable source over the years.

    Hope this helps.
