Has it been attacked by something? A neighbour's cat, or a passing heron?
The silver scales are suspicious.
I have not ever kept Koi, but have kept ordinary goldfish for years, and by far the commonest cause of loss is some sort of trauma (Frogs in the Spring are particularly difficult, as they tear the skin off the fish, which then die from secondary infection)
If your other fish still seem OK I would not over react, by treating your pond with anything drastic, but rather spend a bit of time, with a net in your hand, looking for a culprit - it may be a Dytiscus beetle, or, as I mentioned earlier, a neighbour's cat.
Always sad when we lose even a fish.
Good Luck.

go to an aquatic/pet store and they will advise you on what solution to put in your pond, but be quick before it spreads to the rest of your fish

you need to check your water quality, take a sample to your local pond shop they will do it for you most times they wont even charge you , the first thing i would do is a partial water change do it straight away dont leave it , change at least 2 thirds of the water just to make sure then add some pond salt , salt is a good antiseptic for fish , make sure you add plenty, ask at the pond shop for the right amount for your pond size , hope all ok and will keep fingers crossed for you !
