Hey, we have a few koi carp in our pond in the back garden and i heard that they sometime sell for quite a bit. they are about 12 inchs long (30cm-ish) give or take an inch or two and i was wondering where you can sell them, and how much they can go for?

The Koi you hear about selling for £100′s are not the fish you would find in a back garden pond :0)
The RRP for 12 regular pond Koi is about £30, so if you sell to a dealer you would get about £10/fish if your lucky.
Place an advert in your local paper or fish keeping/gardening magazine and you will get £20/fish, (they collect).
There’s quite a high turn over of stock with pond fish, so prospective buyers are looking for bargains.
