I took my 6 month old Vizsla for his walk in the local municipal park this morning. He was playing with his Collie friend when I noticed him running around with a pheasant tail feather in his mouth. Seconds later he disappeared into the bushes only to return with the pheasant. It was completely dead [...] Took Orca, my Vizsla, to a walk in Richmond Park organised by a lady on the MSN Vizsla message board. They estimate that there were around 40 dogs there, it was an awesome spectacle to see so many “ginger nutters” in one place. My pup’s only 6 months old so he’s only supposed to have 2 [...] Kelsy asked: Do u think its a waste of time, if not did it help you how? My vizsla pup is 6 months old. He’s coming on really well, training classes are going ok BUT when he’s bored or wants attention or is excited he barks…and barks…and barks !. I’ve tried the Dog Whisperer snap – hiss – poke solution but it does nothing, he thinks I’m playing.
