What is de ideal temperature for the koi carp in my 100L tank?

  • well. ive read that goldfish like colder waters then koi so i would say 68f-70f is ideal

  • Around the 68F mark is ideal.

    These fish are just overwintering before they go back to a pond right? Koi need at least 500-600 Gallons of pond each (that’s over 1800 litres). They cannot be kept in tanks long-term at all. For over wintering they’re better in 100 gallons (370 litres) at least, not 100 litres.

  • Read the other answers 68f is really good and you do have a pond and you do alot of water changes? The filter should be 4 times as powerful for a fish as dirty as Koi (No offence, Fact!)
