Ok there is no such thing as a Wirehaired Vizsla…there are German Wirehaired Pointers and Vizslas, two very distinctive breeds. If you want a dog that is 2 years old you will first have to decide which breed it is you want…then contact a rescue service for that particular breed club. If you need assistance email:

I actually heard of guy ’round Detroit ways that had one from a guy in the UK I used to yak w/on-line.

Ask at the American Wirehaired Vizsla Club…

They even have a rescue… but there is probably a waiting list.

There are estimated only 300 of this breed currently living in the United States.

never knew they came wire haired! i’d like to see that!
anyway, check with vets, regular coat vizsla breeders maybe of some help.
