Have a look at the ingrediants list. Fewer ingrediants actually means better food as its not bulked out with crap fillers. I used to feed James WellBeloved to my Westie, but he was never (absolutely NEVER!) solid on it all and just pooped everytime we went out. I changed to Science Plan (Hills Science) Natures Best, which he loved, and he was solid within a day. Plus JWB, he hardly ever used to eat, unless he was really hungry. And he's really not picky about food, AT ALL!Now hes 10 mths, Ive just moved him to adult and found Royal Canin is real good for him. Its a case of looking whats out there really. But like I said, look for one with less ingrediants, a good percentage of meat/fish and the right amount of protein for your size dog. Dont go for something with lots of cereal based ingrediants, they are just fillers that are there for nothing. And dont use Eukanuba/IAMS. They price high, so people think its a good quality food - and its really not. Plus, they donate to animal medical testing and breed dogs just to test their food on - and then dispose of them.

Neither one of those are good quality foods. According to the dog food analysis website, the hills is a 1* food and the James is a 3*. You can find many good quality foods on that site.

I've never heard of James Wellbeloved. Where are you shopping, I am curious.... I feed my puppy Nutro Natural Choice. And if you like Science Diet, try the Natures Best line. It's all natural.
