my vizsla wasnt behaving and needed some exercise.. so i had her chase me in my truck doing bout 36 for a good half mile.. and she’s only a year old

Actually there was an attempt to use a radar gun on the whippets at a race meet – the numbers were clearly wrong (ridiculously fast). turned out the gun was reading the front legs snapping forward not the dogs speed…..
WE did get a timing device that was VERY accurate but rather delicate. Fastest whippet (a national champion) was at 42 MPH most were a tad over 35. It’s highly unlikely a vizsla is faster so probably low 30′s may as high as 35.

They’re so fast you can’t catch them with a radar gun! especially when they have just pulled your bra outta the dirty laundry and bolted out the doggie door!!
