I have no idea of the price, but of the ones I’ve met at obedience class, they seem to be highly intelligent, but somewhat protective. I do know one that is a service dog for a handicapped gentleman, and has a lovely disposition. I would recommend doing more research on the breed before choosing….also talk to breeders and owners, age of kids etc all come into play.
Vislas are VERY high energy, extremely intelligent, and great escape artists. They are protective and great family dogs as well. I would recommend do ALOT of research before getting a Visla, or any high energy breed. They MUST be properly socialized to prevent dog aggression, and obedience school is a must as well. In my experience, any well trained dog is good with children. The real question is, are your children good with dogs?
Furthermore, are you going to be willing to TRAIN your dog for its ENTIRE life? This is A LOT of work.
