I have two koi carp in my 180 litre , 47/48 gallon tank.
I was wonderin if anyone has any experience like myself and could tell me what the best thing is to grow them on, well just the best thing to get them big (very) strong and healthy!

Chz!

cooked peas! They are full of health
peas.
brown bread
lettuce
and growth food.
commercial koi/goldfish foods are the best for power feeding (usuall what this is called)
you wouldn’t happen to be in the northern hemisphere would you? are you trying to bulk them up over winter?
You want a diet that include aquatic based fats and proteins as well as Wheat Germ
Bread is NOT a good source of nutrition for ANY fish as it is mostly carbohydrates which are mostly passed through a fish digestive system and then will pollute your aquarium or pond (which your aquarium is much too small for the long term health of these fish, although if they are small this can work temporarily).
Fish get their energy primarily from fats.
There are many excellent commercial brand of Koi food available such as Sanyu or Hikari.
Ingredients to look for include Spirulina, Wheat or Rice bran, Fish Meal, Vegetable protein extract (a source of the important amino acid DL-methionine), carotene.

Try Koi pellets!
I have lots of Koi in my pond and feed them on floating pellet to the best your budget can go .they wont eat much this time of the year unless your pond is heated but give them a bit of wheatgerm in the winter you need a pellet with high protien
only give them what they want to eat though. too much uneaten food floating around is no good for your fish, feed them little and often.they also like lettuce leaves but i dont think they will pack any weight on if they become veggy koi
